Women say they'll sacrifice years from their lives to be thin - but that's not necessary.  

Many women would gladly give up years from their lives - their lives - or money from their paycheck in exchange for their sporting a fab figure, according to The Succeed Foundation,  a British eating disorder charity. In fact, a third of women surveyed said they'd be willing to die a year earlier to maintain their ideal weights. While 1 percent said they'd give up 21 years -- which is clearly enough time to raise an entire child. And as for financial sacrifices, 13 percent were willing to give up $10,000 from their salaries.

So if we're willing to give up time and money for fitness, how about spending less time talking to researchers and more time A) hitting the gym B) shop for fresh vegetables C) prepare healthy meals. If dying early seems easier, just because you don't have the time, click here to learn how you can find an extra hour each day. And if you occasionally use those precious found moments to sleep or internet shop we won't tell.

Other findings:

13 percent said they'd give up $10,000 of their annual salaries (that's roughly converted from British pounds.)

8 percent said they'd give up a promotion at work.

6 percent said they'd forfeit an honors degree.

9 percent said they'd sacrifice time with their partner.

7 percent said they'd lose time with their families.
